Japanese popular actress Ayaka Kawakita recently revealed her debut film project on social media, surprising fans as this film hails from Taiwan! This news is undoubtedly a delight for her followers. Exclusive behind-the-scenes footage captured Ayaka Kawakita filming in Tokyo, alongside Rakuten cheerleader KIRA and Japanese actress Yui Mihama, creating a dream trio for this production.

The film, titled I Missed Love When I Returned from Another World, is currently being filmed intensively in Tokyo. In this movie, viewers will see Ayaka Kawakita, KIRA, and Yui Mihama dressed in magical robes and wielding mystical props on the rooftops of Tokyo. This not only marks Ayaka Kawakita’s first film but also KIRA’s debut in international co-produced films, promising to shine brightly in both Taiwanese and Japanese markets.

The star-studded cast doesn’t stop there. In addition to Ayaka Kawakita, KIRA, and Yui Mihama, the film features Malaysian newcomer Joey Tan and the award-winning actress Aoi Uehara, renowned for her “Platinum Actress” title. This production is the first collaboration between the Japanese company “Fourth Wall” and Taiwan. The film’s producer, Qiu Maoting, described it as an “immersive romantic comedy,” guaranteeing the audience will feel enveloped in a delightful pink-hued fantasy.

Originally known by her stage name Ayaka Kato, she changed her name to Ayaka Kawakita after switching management companies this year and has been actively pursuing the Taiwanese market. Last year, she was invited to attend the Walk Bell Awards.
